The nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves that branch out to nourish different parts of the body. The function of the nervous system is to receive and transmit all nerve signals between the brain and different parts of the body in order to complete all body functions efficiently. Therefore, a disease of the brain and nerves causes a malfunction in one of the body's functions. These include: brain and spinal cord tumors, multiple sclerosis, aneurysms, spinal disorders, peripheral nerves, stroke, memory disorders and Alzheimer's disease, seizures, epilepsy, and recurrent dizziness, genetic and hereditary neurological diseases, pediatric brain and nerve diseases, epilepsy and muscle disorders, brain atrophy, cerebral palsy and quadriplegia in children and adults.
